Personality
Development Program is conducted in two semesters as a
compulsory Add-On course for all first year students.
While courses on Analytical skill development is open to
all students, Feel-Employable courses are offered only
to out going students of the college.

Admission Criteria and Fee Payable
|
A candidate who has passed
the two year Pre-University Examination of the Karnataka
State or any other Examination recognized as equivalent are
eligible for admission to six semester Degree Programmes.
Candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Degree
programme should have studied at least two Science subjects
as electives at the Pre-University level. |

Rules for Admission
|
|
1. All admissions
are provisional and subject to the approval of the
University of Mysore.
2. The admission of candidates is made on the basis of marks
obtained by them in the
qualifying examination.
3. Admissions are made on the condition that students will
abide by the rules and regulations
of the college.
4. Admissions are made on a year-to-year basis. Students are
required to apply for
readmission at the beginning of each academic year to continue their
studies in the
college.
5. Readmissions can be procured after satisfying certain
conditions such as required
percentage of attendance, academic progress & conduct.
6. The Principal reserves the right of admission.
7. Required Documents necessary for admission are:
a) Completely filled in application
form.
b) Six copies of recent passport size photograph.
c) Three photocopies of Income certificate/Caste certificate
duly attested by a Gazetted
Officer, along with original
certificates.
d) Original Marks card of the qualifying examination along
with an attested copy.
8. Candidates once admitted cannot claim refund of fee
already paid.
9. Students with undesirable antecedents will not be allowed
readmission to the next class.
10. Parents or Guardians presence during admission is
mandatory.

Candidates from other States and
Foreign Countries, seeking admission to I, II and III Degree
programmes are required to produce the Eligibility and
Migration Certificates issued by the University of Mysore. |

Rs.11,000/- per annum irrespective of the community or caste to which they belong, shall be exempted from payment of Tuition, Laboratory and Examination Fees for Aided courses only.

have different fee structure.

Rules and
Regulations |
Code of Conduct
1. Students are expected to conduct themselves in an
exemplary way in order to accomplish
the aspirations expressed in the college Mission Statement.
2. Students are expected to respect the members of both
teaching and non teaching staff.
3. Students are expected to participate actively in all
the functions organized in the college.
4. Students are expected to handle college property with
care. In case of any damage
caused, the cost will be recovered from students collectively.
5. Students are prohibited from collecting money in the
campus. However, permission for
mobilizing funds for social causes and charitable purposes
may be considered by the
merit of the proposal.
6. Participation in political agitation or demonstration
or strike is strictly prohibited. Any
violation in this regard will lead to rustication of students.
7. Students are required to make use of the library and
Sports facility during their free hours.
8. Students are prohibited from bringing four-wheelers
to the college. Students who bring their
two-wheelers are to compulsorily park them at the noted
parking areas only.
9. Using mobile phone inside the college campus is not
permitted.
10. Ragging in any form is
strictly prohibited & punishable as per Sec. 2 (29), 116
of
the Karnataka Education Act, 1983.
Important note
1) Students are expected to be present in the college
for entire duration of classes. Prior
permission of the Principal should be taken by the students
to leave the college in
between. Permission will be given only after consulting the parents.
2) Free periods, if any, will be productively enagaged
either in AVC or through other means.
Students are expected to be seated in their respective
classes till such arrangements are
made.

Dress Code
All courses will have a single pattern dress code from
this year with a difference in the colour of tie.
Uniform for all students is compulsory. This will help
to bring a sense of discipline. Observing Dress Code is
mandatory and part of college discipline. No student
will allowed to attend classes without proper uniform.
Students should adhere to the dress code as mentioned
below:

1. Uniform - Tuesdays,
Thursdays and Saturdays ( Blazers will be worn only on
Saturdays and ceremonial occasions from Jan 26 to the
end of the term)
2. On other days - Any
decent looking and presentable dress |
Vigilance: Attendance and Discipline |
As per the rules of the University of Mysore,
students should have a minimum attendance of 75% in each
subject to qualify themselves to take the examination.
This rule is strictly adhered to in the college.
Any exemption claimed on the grounds of Medical
reasons is validated with two letters from the
parents and the certificate from the physician at the
end. The first letter should be produced at the
commencement of the medical leave and the second on
resuming the classes along with a certificate from the
doctor.
A teacher-headed body would strictly monitor
attendance and discipline related matters. Unauthorized
absenteeism on the part of the students would disqualify
them from attending the examination. Breach of
discipline of any kind would be severely dealt with and
stringent action will be initiated against such students
after duly informing the parents about the same. Total
cooperation of both students and their parents/guardians
is sought to ensure discipline and requisite attendance
on the part of the students. They are invited to join
hands with the administration in promoting goodwill and
the cause of higher education in the service of the
society.
