Campus and Physical Infrastructure Mahajana First Grade College, the most preferred Institution in the City of Mysore is located in prime residential locality of Mysore, Jayalakshmipuram. It is easily accessible from the vantage points of the city through public modes of transportation. The campus has a total area of 9,14,760 sq.ft with a built up area of 3,25,600 sq.ft and an open area of 5,98,160 sq.ft.
The campus is spread over an area of 6 acres comprising multi-storeyed buildings and well developed infrastructure to facilitate all round development of students.
Laboratories The college has well-equipped laboratories for Computer Science, Electronics, Physics, Criminology and Forensic Science, Psychology, Geography, BioTechnology, Biochemistry and Microbiology. A Commerce Lab is also setup to facilitate teaching Commerce and Management subjects.

Library top

The library is housed in a separated wing and has a collection of about 25,000 books, leading Journals and Periodicals numbering 90 including 2 International journals (Harvard Business Review and German News).

In the era of information dissemination, the library has succeeded in upgrading itself to modern technology. The fully automated library has its entire repository bar coded. It is in possession of a digital collection of 425 prized CDs on important subjects. The library has an institutional membership of the British Council Library, Bangalore

It also provides Book Bank facility and Inter library borrowing system. To promote reading habits and extensive use of library, special cash prizes are awarded to students making maximum use of the library.

Auditoria top

The institution has two auditoria, Vivekananda Hall and Subbalakshmi Hall, and
an Open Air theater. These cater to the requirements of assembly of different types with a well-equipped Public Address System.
The pride of the college is its two state-of-the-art Audio Visual centers.

Stadium and Gymnasium top

The college has Jagadeesh Prasad Stadium, where facilities for out-door and in-door sports are provided. It has a Multi-Gymnasium with a good instructional facility.

Sports top

Students are encouraged to develop and attain physical growth and acquire
sportsmanship. The College regularly holds the Annual Athletic Meet (Inter-class
competitions) and hosts the State Level Sri Ranga Rao Memorial City Intercollegiate
Volleyball and the Rattehalli Ramappa Memorial Throwball tournaments. The college
has gained reputation in the field of sports with its sports persons winning coveted titles,

Health Centre

The college has a full-fledged health centre to provide first-aid facilities to the
students. Periodic health check-ups are organized with the help of Medical Officers.
The centre also helps in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the campus.

Separate hostels for Men and Women exist in a short distance from the college. It
is provided on request-on first come-first serve basis.
