The college is offering a unique programme of one-year (two semesters) P.G. Diploma in E-Governance from the academic year 2007-08. This course is sponsored by the UGC under the X plan Innovative Programme. The course is affiliated to the University of Mysore.

E-Governance has made its mark and tremendous progress in the areas of revenue, health, agriculture and industry including government activities. The curriculum would include:

I Semester : 
1. Public Administration and Entrepreneurship Development
2. Introduction to E-Governance
3. E-Governance Architecture
4. Database, Database Warehousing and Data Mining
5. Practical Paper-I

II Semester:
1.  Information Systems, Design and Analysis
2.  Software engineering and testing
3.  E-Governance Applications
4.  Survey of E-Governance project
5.  Case study/Project work

Eligibility : 
Degree Students with B.Sc. (C.S)/B.C.A/Graduate in any discipline with a good knowledge of Information Technology with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

Successful completion of this diploma would give an edge to the students in the areas of automation, ERP, E-Commerce, R & D both in the Government and private sectors. It would be an added advantage for those who wish to be self-employed. Government staff will be provided with a few seats for sponsored training. Hostel facilities will be provided on request on first-come-first served basis.
