The college has the distinction of being the first institution among the UG col-
leges in the University of Mysore to set up its PG Centre. The PG Centre is housed in
an independent campus of 18 acres five km away from the main premises. Set up in
1999, it offers Master's Degree programmes in Commerce, Management, Computer
Application and Bio-Technology. Master's Programmes in Microbiology and Soical Work
are proposed to commence from 2007-08. The Centre is headed by an eminent scholar
and economist Dr. C K Renukarya, who has published 35 books and 120 articles in
national and international journals. The PG Centre has signed independent MoUS
with Karnataka State Open University (MSc-IT), Punjab Technical
University(MSc-Bio- Technology), Maryland University (On-line MBA), SIFY ( Supply Chain Management)
and QSIT ( Software Testing and Test Automation).
The centre enjoys excellent infrastructure and qualified staff. Being recognised
by AICTE the centre naturally is the next best destination for our own students. For
